Mining Haul Roads
Should the quarry expansion be approved 26km of residential, rural and urban local government roads will be turned into mining haul roads at the expense of rate payers.
The proposed haulage routes for the expansion plan, from what MCQAG can gather, would likely include; residential streets with multiple hundreds of drive way entrances, existing damaged roads with already worn and sub standard pavements, blind corners, railway crossings, commerical business precincts, single lane heritage listed bridge crossings and narrow single lane un marked rural roads.
